We had a truly wonderful time welcoming Berkhamstead Day Nursery for a very special Easter visit, filled with laughter, learning and meaningful connections. Our team put in a great deal of effort to make the day memorable, and it was lovely to see everything come together so beautifully.
John brought plenty of smiles dressed as the Easter Bunny, delighting both the children and our residents with his playful energy. One of the highlights of the day was introducing the children to our freshly hatched chicks, which sparked lots of excitement and curiosity. The children also enjoyed decorating our Easter tree, adding their own creative touches and bringing a real sense of springtime joy into our home.
Most importantly, the visit gave everyone the chance to spend quality time together. The children and residents formed such lovely bonds, sharing stories, laughter and games, and truly getting to know one another. These intergenerational moments are so special and meaningful for everyone involved.
It was incredibly heartwarming to receive such kind feedback from the nursery. Hearing that the children talked all the way home about the Easter Bunny, the games and their new “granny and grandad” friends meant so much to us. We were especially touched to hear that some of the children wished they could have stayed longer.
We are so grateful for their visit and cannot wait to welcome Berkhamstead Day Nursery back again soon.
