Residents from our care home enjoyed a wonderful day out at the local garden centre as we begin preparing for spring. The visit gave everyone the chance to explore a wide range of plants, flowers and gardening supplies while gathering ideas for our brand new allotment space at the home.
Spending time outdoors and taking part in meaningful activities such as gardening can support wellbeing, encourage conversation and bring residents together. The trip was full of smiles, shared inspiration and excitement as we start planning what to grow in our new allotment this season. We are looking forward to getting planting and watching our garden grow throughout spring and summer. 🌱🌼
