As March draws to a close, we are reflecting on the wonderful sense of community that continues to grow within our home. From shared activities to everyday conversations, it is the connection between people that truly makes a difference.

Strengthening Community Connections
Community spirit is not only about what happens inside our home, but also about the relationships we build beyond it. We strongly believe in the value of connection across generations, and we are delighted to share some exciting news.
We have partnered with a local Berkhamsted school to begin younger intergenerational visits starting in April. This new collaboration will bring pupils into our home to spend time with residents, creating meaningful opportunities for shared learning, conversation and joy.
Intergenerational experiences can offer many benefits:

Living Eggs Project Launching in April
Our partnership will begin with a special Living Eggs project. This hands on experience will allow residents and children to observe the journey from egg to chick together. It is a wonderful way to spark curiosity, conversation and shared excitement.
The Living Eggs experience encourages:

- A sense of anticipation and wonder

We are incredibly excited to see how these visits will enrich daily life within our home. The arrival of spring makes it the perfect time to begin something new, symbolising growth and fresh beginnings.
