We are proud to introduce our new nurse call alert app, designed to support faster, more responsive care throughout the home.
The new software sends nurse call alerts directly to staff devices, helping the care team receive notifications promptly wherever they are in the building. This enables staff to respond quickly while continuing to provide reassurance, comfort and support to residents.
As the system becomes fully established, we will gradually phase out the traditional call bell sound around the home. This will help create a calmer, more peaceful environment for residents, visitors and staff, while ensuring that important alerts still reach the right people without delay.
The app also allows staff to communicate with one another through secure instant messages or voice communication, similar to a walkie-talkie. This will improve whole-home communication, support quicker teamwork and help staff coordinate care more effectively.
The system has been introduced with safety, security and confidentiality in mind. Communication is managed through secure staff devices, and information is handled in line with GDPR requirements and our responsibilities to protect residents’ personal information.
By investing in modern care technology, we are continuing to improve communication, enhance safety and provide a more personalised and responsive experience for every resident.
