Parachute Fun with College Students

Our home was filled with colour, laughter, and shared moments as we enjoyed a lively parachute activity alongside local college students. It was a wonderful example of how simple, well planned activities can bring different generations together in a meaningful and joyful way.

Residents and students worked as one team, lifting and moving the parachute in rhythm, sharing smiles, conversation, and plenty of laughter along the way. The bright colours and gentle movement created a sense of excitement while remaining inclusive and accessible for everyone taking part.

Parachute games are not just fun, they also support gentle physical movement, coordination, and social connection. For many residents, the experience sparked memories, encouraged interaction, and boosted confidence, while the students gained valuable insight into person centered care and the importance of community connection.

Moments like these remind us how powerful shared experiences can be. Bringing people together, creating joy, and building understanding across generations is something we value deeply, and we look forward to welcoming the students back again very soon.
